We fish both nearshore and offshore depending on weather conditions, current fishing reports, and the specific target species.

One of the major advantages of fishing from Ucluelet is immediate access to a wide variety of highly productive fishing zones. The captain will select the most productive and safest location on the day of your trip.
How Far Do We Travel From the Dock?
Travel distance varies from day to day. We may fish relatively close to Ucluelet or travel up to 25 miles from the dock to reach offshore grounds.

Yes. When offshore conditions are rough, we transition to the more protected waters of Barkley Sound.
